Background Screening
DISA’s complete line of background searches assists employers with their important hiring decisions. In addition to the searches commonly used by various types of employers, DISA’s services include all of the searches required for DOT regulated companies. The company also offers customized packages that save employers time and money, as well as grading and evaluating services that are based on employer-specified protocols.
Training
DISA offers an extensive line of training services, covering a variety of subjects and interests. It offers over 100 safety courses that comply with the standards and requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Employers also have several drug-free workplace courses from which to choose, such as Supervisor Awareness and Employee Education. From interactive, online modules to classroom-style seminars, DISA’s training services have something to offer every type of employer.
Occupational Health Screening
Recognizing the important role health and wellness screening plays in workplace safety, DISA expanded its service line in 2008 to include occupational health screening. The company provides expert occupational health services, including program management, scheduling, and status tracking. These services currently include several types of screens, such as DOT and employer-defined physicals, respiratory protection and audiometric testing, and include an automated renewal notice.
Health & Safety Centers
In June of 2009 we opened the DISA Health & Safety Center in Benicia, California. This unique facility provides comprehensive employee occupational health and safety services to the entire Bay Area. Safety-sensitive employers now have a fast and convenient resource for all of their employee health and safety needs. Services include drug and alcohol testing, audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, wellness services, and safety and site-specific training.
In addition to various health and safety screenings, the center provides comprehensive training services. It offers a diverse safety course curriculum, including many OSHA-required courses. Subjects include BATC (Bay Area Training Corporation) and HASC (Houston Area Safety Council) training, as well as various other safety council-specific training.
Gulf Coast Safety Center (formerly Drug Screens Etc.)
Drug Screens Etc. became a DISA company in October of 2008. Now called Gulf Coast Safety Center, this established employee screening and occupational health provider serves Texas and Louisiana with four locations along the Gulf Coast. Services include drug and alcohol testing, audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, wellness services, and physicals (DOT and non-DOT).
Our Gulf Coast Centers also provide onsite collection services and have three mobile collection units. The fleet includes a customized 8' x 40' trailer for onsite and after-hours drug and alcohol collections and occupational health screenings.

DISA Contractors Consortium “DCC”
DISA’s unique contractor compliance program, the DISA Contractors Consortium (DCC), serves the oil and gas and construction industries, and is the largest program of its kind. The DCC manages contractor compliance for nearly 50 owners with multiple locations across the U.S. and abroad. These owners and owner locations include both refinery and exploration and production operations. The DCC is approved and mandated by more U.S. refineries than any other compliance program.
