DISA Safety Orientation Program (DSOP)
The DISA Safety Orientation Program (DSOP) is a standardized safety training, consisting of comprehensive standards-based safety curriculum, geared specifically for the refinery industry. DSOP was formerly known as the Bay Area Training (BAT), which was created over 20 years ago by the refinery owners in the San Francisco - Bay Area. BAT was originally owned and managed by the Bay Area Training Corporation (BATC).
After acquiring the BATC, DISA developed DSOP as an enhanced successor to BAT. This powerful safety education program is still driven and supported by the continuing cooperative efforts of the Bay Area refineries and contractor companies. It is used and accepted by numerous owner facilities along the West Coast and continues to be expanded into other U.S. regions.DSOP Courses
